Q:What type of service do you offer?
A: Passion Community Church provides a contemporary environment for you and your family. Our Worship music is contemporary and so is our approach. However, the Bible is always portrayed in its original teachings and never compromised or altered. We believe the Holy Bible to be “God breathed” and therefore is not up for “translation”. The same Word of God that was relevant in Jesus’ day is still relevant today and is alive at Passion.
Q:What is the normal dress/attire?
A: Passion is very laid back and we realize that everyone is different. We do not require that you wear a suit and tie, but if that is what you prefer, that is fine too. We want everyone to feel comfortable no matter what you prefer to dress like. Jeans are just as acceptable as a suit. It is up to you!
Q: Do you offer Children’s Services/Programs?
A: Yes! In fact, we are happy to offer these services to your family because we feel it is important to reach different age groups in different ways that are appropriate to his/her understanding. That is why we offer nurseries for babies (Passion Prizes), classes for toddlers (Passion Pals), and special services for Kindergarten-5th grade (The Factory) as well as a service geared toward Middle & High School students (GRAVITY). There is something to offer every age group here at Passion.
Q: What is the café? Is it REALLY for free?
A: The café is a place we offer visitors and attenders to come and sit while having breakfast which is provided free of charge. It is just our way of starting off the morning before service starts. Should you choose to come back, be sure to come in early enough to have a bite to eat and meet some new people.
Q: What is the Response Card for?
A: The Response Card is located in your Sunday Flyer. We have it available so that you can fill it out and we can learn more about our guests. Please take a moment to fill it out and place it in the basket during the offering time which is at the end of the service.
We hope this answers some of your basic questions regarding your visit to Passion.
